Learning Objectives: STANDARD COMPETENCIES: 1. Examine the relationship between the various endocrine organs. 2. Explore the functional areas of the brain. 3. Discuss the various acute and chronic disorders of the body and how herbs can assist in the treatment of such conditions. 4. Differentiate various treatment modalities for common ailments 5. Utilize medical terminology associated with herbology. 6. Explain the difference between ingestion and digestion and how herbs are synthesized. 7. Explore the benefits of herbs in advanced women's health issues. 8. Create herbal remedies and explore their usage.
