Learning Objectives: STANDARD COMPETENCIES: 1. Describe differences between traditional/herbal/folk medicine. 2. Define applicable terminology. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of ingestion, digestion and synthesis of herbal substances. 4. Demonstrate an understanding of herbs from a historical and cultural perspective. 5. Demonstrate an understanding of the therapeutic agents of value in women's health care. 6. Create herbal remedies and discuss their uses.
