REQUIRED COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Develop an understanding of fish anatomy and physiology and identify and incorporate ichthyologic terminology.
2. Research and determine care requirements for a variety of fishes.
3. Develop and understanding of lighting, heating, filtration, water conditioning and the nitrogen cycle.
4. Identify, set-up and manage closed aquaria systems, fresh water and marine.
5. Develop an understanding of aquatic invertebrate anatomy and physiology and identify and incorporate invertebrate terminology.
