REQUIRED COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Identify current feline taxonomy and the evolution of feline species.
2. Demonstrate the knowledge required to work with felines in a captive as well as wild setting.
3. Research housing and husbandry requirements for exotic felids.
4. Discuss conservation projects and goals with members of the zoo community.
5. Present a short presentation on a current felid study, exhibiting public speaking skills as well as ability to create a power point presentation.
