Course Description: | Covers designing and generating images using Mastercam Cad software. Student will be able to cut developed images/parts using Koike Monograph CNC Plasma cutting table. Student should be familiar with basic metallurgy pertaining to the plasma cutting of metals and safety in the welding industry. |

REQUIRED COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Follow shop safety practices.
2. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
3. Follow guidelines prescribed in course progress chart.
4. Perform safety inspections on Koike monograph cnc plasma cutting equipment.
5. Set up Koike monograph cnc plasma cutting equipment.
6. Identify proper cutting amperage and speeds.
7. Program and cut standard shapes within Burny controller.
8. Design image/part to be cut using Mastercam.
9. Give image/part a toolpath.
10. Cut image/part with Koike monograph cnc plasma cutting equipment.
11. Identify surface discontinuities and suggest corrective
12. Perform minor troubleshooting on cutting equipment.
13. Interpret weld symbols.
14. Do assigned course book work.
