REQUIRED COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Perform safety inspections on cutting and gouging equipment.
2. Demonstrate proper set up and shut down of cutting and gouging equipment.
3. Make use of cutting and gouging equipment to perform cutting and gouging operations.
4. Inspect cut surfaces and edges.
5. Identify discontinuities on cut surfaces and edges.
6. Explain fundamental principles of cutting and gouging processes.

2. Make use of oxyacetylene equipment to produce various cuts and gouges.
