 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 1. Demonstrate knowledge of the theory, history and different settings in which consecutive interpretation is used.
 2. Present the evolution of the way long consecutive interpretation was used in the past, and the way it is used now.
 3. Discuss accuracy standards for consecutive interpretation in different settings.
 4. Demonstrate knowledge of the technical challenges of consecutive interpretation in different settings and review the
    best practices for their resolution.
 5. Review the current industry standards for note-taking and practice note-taking
 6. Practice consecutive interpretation skills with the application of note-taking using a variety or community setting scenarios,
    as well as scenarios for legal settings.
 7. Demonstrate the thorough knowledge of the most common terms needed to perform consecutive interpretation assignments in
