STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Identify and critically discuss the genres and their effect upon the writing and performing process.
2. Properly create and use characters, setting, story, theme and dialogue within the different genres of dramatic scripts.
3. Use the analysis of their own and others projects as constructive criticism.
4. Explore, know, and use proper formatting and structural form for theatre plays, screen plays, television plays, radio plays, and animation.
5. Demonstrates mastery of concepts by writing scripts in the various forms identified in competency 4 above.

B. Creative writing exercises in all specified forms
IV. Elements of Character, Plot, Dialogue, and Setting for stage, television, film and animation.
