STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Learn basic set design.
II. Learn design and color theories
III. Construct miniature and life-size sets for film and/or theatre.
IV. Draw scale designs
V. Do perspective renderings
VI. Construct a (1/48) 1/2¿ or (1/12) 1¿ scale model of a set
VII. Participate in the construction of actual theatrical setting(s) based on studies of a specific script and design.
VIII. Coordinate and dress the set, choosing those accessories/set dressings which the period, production concept, and scenes call for under the direction of the Designer and Technical Director.
