STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Analyze and evaluate the Stanislavski Method of scene study.
II. Understand historical perspective of Stanislavski System of actor training.
III. Practice basic acting skills through Stanislavski exercises.
IV. Understand and practice the Method approach to acting.
V. Understand and apply concepts of cultural influence upon classical dramatic literature.
VI. Analyze and evaluate Stanislavski¿s Method of script analysis in classic and contemporary dramatic literature.
VII. Analyze and apply scene-scoring techniques.
VIII. Analyze and apply the concepts of beats, units, and moments as units of action.
