  Course Description:Designed to build on previous learning and focus students skills as related to the major ¿chassis¿ components of motorcycles. This class will provide advanced training in the servicing and repair of motorcycle frames, suspension, tire, wheel and brake systems. Diagnostic procedure, routine maintenance, major repair, adjustment and special tools will be studied. Hands-on lab activity and actual ¿line work¿ will be the focus of this advanced curriculum.

 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 I.      Demonstrate through repeated hands-on Application the ability to inspect and repair frames that show flaws or damage.
 II.     Document through written media the repair procedure used in a given instance of repairing a motorcycle frame.
 III.    Apply appropriate procedures used to inspect and repair motorcycle frames.
 IV.     Justify the repair technique used in a given instance of repairing a motorcycle frame.
 V.      Demonstrate through repeated hands-on Application the ability to inspect and repair motorcycle suspension systems that show flaws or damage.
 VI.     Document through written media the repair procedure used in a given instance of repairing a motorcycle suspension system.
 VII.    Apply appropriate procedures used to inspect and repair motorcycle suspension systems.
