STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate ability to work through problems encountered in Sport Vehicle Electrical Systems using a methodical process.
II. List correct sequence of events required to determine faults in Sport Vehicle Electrical Systems.
III. Identify, list and diagram the majority of electrical components used in Sport Vehicle Electrical Systems.
IV. Demonstrate ability to inspect and determine condition of Sport Vehicle Electrical Systems components.
V. Demonstrate ability to locate shorts, grounds, opens, and resistance problems in electrical/electronic circuits; determine necessary action
VI. Demonstrate ability measure and diagnose the cause(s) of abnormal key-off battery drain; determine necessary action.
VII. Demonstrate ability repair wiring harnesses and connectors.
VIII. Perform solder repair of electrical wiring.
