  Course Description:Gives students the theoretical and factual background necessary to understand the phenomenon of gender stratification in American and other cultures. Students will be exposed to a history of gender stratification in human societies, theoretical explanations for this and insights into the consequences of gender differentiation in our world today.~~This course is one of the Statewide Guaranteed Transfer courses.
