Course Description: | This course is designed to introduce students to the knowledge and skills needed to grow and sustain performance in the global ski and snowboard industry. Basic business operations surrounding the global marketplace including sourcing, production, marketing, cultural implications, legal challenges, and global finance will be discussed. Additionally, students will learn about different strategies ski and snowboard focused businesses use to expand globally, gain an awareness of competitive advantage, and be exposed to international career opportunities within the industry. |
