Course Description: | Provides basic skills required to safely maintain and repair gasoline and diesel over-the-snow vehicles. Emphasis will be given to hydraulics, vehicle electricity, and manufacturers recommended preventative and scheduled maintenance procedures. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify and follow manufacturer`s recommended maintenance procedures.
II. Perform required maintenance of snow vehicle hydraulic and electrical systems.
III. Perform required maintenance of snow vehicle drive line and suspension systems.
IV. Identify different types of fuels, lubricants and coolants used in snow vehicles.
V. Proper tool selection and usage.
VI. Safe shop work skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
