STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Select proper equipment for various jobs.
II. Start engines and/or motors on such equipment according to manufacturer`s specifications and safe operating
III. procedures.
IV. Discuss the various systems such as cooling, hydraulic, etc.
V. Engage power trains according to manufacturer`s specifications and
VI. safe operating procedures.
VII. Describe required routine preventative maintenance on such equipment according to the manufacturer`s recommendations.
VIII. Operate such equipment for construction tasks normally found at ski
IX. areas according to the manufacturer`s recommendations.
