STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Present and receive instruction and formative and summative feedback in compiling and presenting a professional portfolio of the student¿s work in the Associate of Applied Science, Communication Media program at Aims Community College.
II. After you have completed this course, you will be able to:
A. Compile a professional portfolio of your work in the Associate of Applied Science, Communication Media program at Aims Community College.
B. Present, to the professor and potential employers, a professional portfolio of your work in the Associate of Applied Science, Communication Media program at Aims Community College.
TOPICAL OUTLINE:
I. Meet with instructor and write a paragraph introducing yourself to him/her.
II. Begin compiling projects [footage, audio bites, written materials, etc.]. each student¿s portfolio will look different depending upon his or her area of concentration.
III. Meet with instructor to begin compiling above materials into a presentation format.
IV. Meet with instructor to present a ¿rough draft¿ of the portfolio
V. COMPLETE portfolio due BEFORE end of semester on date indicated by instructor (varies by semester.)
