TOPICAL OUTLINE:
I. The student will receive instruction in advanced broadcasting production techniques used in producing newscasts, weathercasts, sportscasts, special news features, commercials and audition tapes. The student will be required to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the unit objectives by completing production projects using material presented in lab discussion and demonstrations.
A. UNIT 1:
1. The Student with write news stories and practice news reading concepts.
B. UNIT II:
1. The student will learn professional techniques used in producing special news features, sportscasts, and interview.
C. UNIT III:
1. The student will write commercials and use professional concepts to produce the commercials.
D. UNIT IV:
1. The student will examine professional techniques used to produce on-air programs and audition tapes.
