STANDARD COMPETENCIES:

 

 I.      Perform announcing duties with a program and music log according to an established schedule every week on KEPC following established format rules. (I)

 II.     Operate professional broadcast equipment in the control room and production room and newsroom. (I)

 III.    Write and produce public service and promotional announcements every week. (II)

 IV.     Write weekly operational reports relating to on-air and production activities. (III)

 V.      Write comprehensive operational report at the end of the internship. (III)

 TOPICAL OUTLINE:

 

 I.      The student will utilize music program and news announcing skills to produce a show on KEPC, according to an established schedule.

 II.     The student will utilize production techniques.

 III.    The student will utilize professional attitudes and responsibilities for KEPC operations and FCC obligations.
