STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Deliver a variety of spoken materials professionally to ¿live¿ camera and/or microphone,
II. utilizing professional voice quality, pronunciation, diction and articulation.
III. Master the International Phonetic Alphabet and common foreign pronunciations.
IV. Compare/contrast the roles and protocols of broadcast announcer as communicator, performer and disseminator of news, sports and entertainment.
V. Practice and master voice quality and articulation with extensive practice sessions
VI. Recognize and function on a basic level with various broadcasting and recording equipment.
