STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Perform radiographs on patients who cannot be transported to Radiology Department using portable x-ray equipment. (I)
II.
III. Identify the special needs of trauma patients and understand the process necessary to radiograph these patients both in the radiology department and in the emergency room. (II)
IV.
V. Understand the special procedures necessary to radiograph the pediatric patient and to perform pediatric radiographs (III)
VI.
VII. Understand the special procedures necessary to radiograph the geriatric patient and to perform geriatric radiographs (IV)
VIII.
IX. Understand the function of an out-patient clinic and radiograph out-patients. (V)

XI. Perform basic radiographic procedures in the operating room. (VI)

XIII. Reinforce all the concepts and develop proficiency in the basic radiographic procedures learned in the first four internship courses. (V)
