STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. The course will require the student to review the respiratory care concepts used for entry level skills. The student is expected to read the assigned readings and complete the self-assessment test given at the end of each assignment. The student will then be given a test by the instructor over the readings that were assigned each week. IT IS EXPECTED THAT EACH STUDENT SPEND TWO TO THREE HOURS A DAY ON THIS READING TO ALLOW FOR PREPARATIION OF NATIONAL BOARDS.

X Week VIIII- Mar. 7 Professional Resume Due Test Over:

A. Oxygen & other gas therapy

XII. Week XII ¿ Mar. 28th Test over:
A. Mechanical Ventilation Adult
B. Mechanical Ventilation Neonate
XIII. Week XIII ¿ April 4 Computerized Written RRT exam.
XIV. Week XIV ¿ April 11 All Volunteer work must have been submitted to Gwen Speaks, and copies of signed information to the instructor. If you have chosen not to do volunteer work then written research paper is due on this date during class.
XV. Week XV ¿ April 18th Written CRT Exam given
XVI. Week XVI ¿April 25th Final Written and Simulation Registry Exam.
