  Course Description:Covers the Advanced Life Support course in emergency trauma care required for Respiratory Care/ EMT-Intermediate students. The course include trauam as a disease in our siciety, the recognition and emergency medical care of trauma patients, and incorporates the ALS procedures or appropriate treatment and care of these patients in the prehospital enivronment. Pre-requisites include being currently certified as a Colorado EMT-Basic and/or Nationally Registered at the EMT-Basic level.
