STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate use of appropriate therapeutic communication skills in working with individuals and groups.
II. Identify actions and side effects of common psychotropic medications and apply precautions related to their administration/distribution.
III. Apply principles of crisis intervention in working with troubled youth.
IV. Observe and participate in at least two (2) different groups (therapeutic, recreation, activity) in assigned clinical setting.
