The medical management including pharmacology, and its impact on physical therapy rehab principles are discussed. Evidence based practice for musculoskeletal and neurological system diagnosis, will be reviewed as they relate to physical therapy rehab.

 1.   Describe the impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities associated with selected neuromusculoskeletal conditions through the individual life span.
 2.   Identify underlying circumstances and phases of disease and dysfunctions of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
 3.   Identify the signs and symptoms associated with selected musculoskeletal and neurological disorders through the individual life span.
 4.   Describe the medical management, including pharmacology, of neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and their influence and impact on the application of physical therapy rehab principles.
 5.   Identify the psychosocial, economic, and cultural impact of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders through the individual life span.
 6.   Identify the phases of disease and the disease process of neuromusculoskeletal disorders and the rehab care of specific patient populations.
