STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Demonstrate terminology related to kinesiology, anatomical position, planes of the body, regions and parts of the body, and terms of movement.
2. Perform appropriate palpation of bones, bony landmarks, joints and muscles including origins and insertions and muscle bellies on a skeleton, instructor or simulated patient.
3. Demonstrate the various actions of muscles in each region of the body, including variations for types of contractions and in a variety of body positions.
4. Demonstrate functional changes occurring with various nerve injuries.
