STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of natural selection.
2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of sexual selection.
3. Describe how researchers in evolutionary psychology conduct experiments and collect data.
4. Describe the concepts in evolutionary psychology and how they impact psychology generally
5. Develop an understanding of the critiques of evolutionary psychology and evolutionary theory and a recognition of specious arguments against the theory.
6. Demonstrate an ability to apply evolutionary principles to major issues in psychology such as thinking, behavior, psychopathology, etc.
