STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Compare and contrast methods and strategies of negotiation and conflict resolution, to include definition and evaluation of the roles and responsibilities of self and others.
II. Analyze and debate the historical development and current trends of civic attitudes necessary for effective participative demoncracy, community advocacy, and citizen leadership within urban, suburban, and rural populations.
III. Demonstrate and critique in simulated and field exercises professional skills such as project management, organization, goal setting, time management, and adaptability.
IV. Engage in reflective practices that analyze personal strengths and individual concerns/needs as they relate to effective team building, community interaction, and civic literacy.
