STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Select a suitable pattern, fabric and underlings for the garment that is to be constructed.
II. Accomplish basic construction skills through the creation of samples of button holes, pockets, top stitching, etc.
III. Lay out and cut out garment without undue waste of fabric.
IV. Successfully fit the garment.
V. Assemble garment in correct sequence
VI. Add finishing details, press and store garment.
