  Course Description:Apply and build on concepts learned in PSP 135, students will learn to draft pant blocks. Students will utilize pant blocks for pant adaptations. Students will expand on their basic blocks to cover the topics of pattern drafting for knits, knit tops, active-wear, and swimwear.

 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 1. Measure and properly record body measurements.
 2. Draft basic pant blocks
 3. Adapt basic pant block for various pants
 4. Apply pattern drafting pant techniques to various materials and adapt draft as appropriate.
 5. Test fabric properties for adaptation of blocks for knit and stretch purposes
 6. Draft knit and stretch body blocks
 7. Adapt knit and stretch body blocks for active-wear, swimwear, and knit designs
 8. Apply correct pattern labels
 9. Draft pattern to meet design specifications
 10. Test fit pattern design
 11. Construct final design in fashion fabric
