STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify suitable fabrics, patterns, and notions, and use the correct tools to make samples of seams, hems, applying lace and elastic using lingerie fabric.
II. Take and record personal measurements and alter the patterns, select fabric and construct one full size garment from the following; half slip, panties, bra, or camisole, and nightshirts.
III. Identify suitable construction techniques, fabrics, and elastics to make samples of swimsuit or exercise garments.
IV. Demonstrate fitting by making a lingerie or active-wear garment.
V. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a home-base business.
