  Course Description:Refines construction techniques introduced in Beginning Sewing. Students gain knowledge and skill in making samples of hand stitches, closures, zippers, pockets, collars, sleeves, darts, etc. Skirt construction methods will be applied in Intermediate Sewing I using full size patterns. Samples will be compiled in a reference notebook

 I.      Complete 75% of a notebook with samples.
 II.     Produce 5 samples of hand-stitching.

 IV.     Assemble a miniature or full scale skirt for Intermediate I.
