Students gain knowledge and skill in making samples of hand stitches, closures, zippers, pockets, collars, sleeves, darts, etc. Skirt construction methods will be applied in Intermediate Sewing I using full size patterns. Samples will be compiled in a reference notebook |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Complete 75% of a notebook with samples.
II. Produce 5 samples of hand-stitching.
III. Layout and cut pattern with appropriate fabric for project selected.
IV. Assemble a miniature or full scale skirt for Intermediate I.
