STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Work with pattern grading tools, draw straight and curved lines and identify pattern pieces.
II. Record personal and standard measurements for the development of various model charts.
III. Recognize pattern type and establish the correct garment size.
IV. Draw lengthwise and crosswise grading lines for separation, grading a d reassembling of pattern pieces.
V. Apply the shifting ¿ grading techniques by hand, to increase or decrease various types of patterns.
VI. Use the grading machine for the grade of assorted pattern sizes and variety of pattern diagrams.
VII. Explore pattern grading techniques for profit in any of the following areas: homebased business, garment manufacturing industry, handicrafts
