Students are given individual assistance on projects of their choice. Special emphasis is placed on appropriate selection of patterns and fabric. Student may be a beginner. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify and use various notions and tools.
II. Select suitable fabric and pattern.
III. Take and record personal measurements and make simple alterations to pattern if needed.
IV. Construct at least three projects or garments.
V. Recognize correct fitting of garments.
VI. Identify and apply various construction techniques suitable to garment or project.
VII. Ask for teacher assistance and guidance if needed.
VIII. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of a home-based business.
