Students will articulate an understanding of the symbiotic nature of ethics, morality, and legality through application of written and oral skill in the resolution of police implementation and role conflict. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify ethical behavior, morality, and character as it applies to security management professionals.
II. Given real-world scenarios, identify the three categories of torts-negligence, intentional, and constitutional.
III. Paraphrase the code of ethics for security management professionals and define the meanings of key provisions.
IV. Identify the ramifications of unethical behavior on the part of the security management professional.
V. Identify the ramifications of libelous behavior on the part of the security management professional and organization.
