Driving range, putting green and on course instruction and play will be included. Use of woods, irons, wedges and putting will be stressed. All instruction will be by certified golf instructors. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate the pre-shot fundamentals of grip, aim and set-up.
II. Recognize and apply the rules of golf.
III. Demonstrate the proper mechanics and execution of the golf swing.
IV. Demonstrate the proper mechanics and execution of the short game.
V. Demonstrate proper putting fundamentals.
VI. Demonstrate basic chipping, pitching and sand play.
VII. Demonstrate proper use of woods.
VIII. Demonstrate proper use of irons.
IX. Examine golf course management.
X Recognize and apply the psychology of play.
