STANDARD COMPETENCIES:

A. Review and practice basic water skills.

C. Review and practice the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke.
D. Practice the sidestroke, open and closed turns, and treading water.
E. Practice water rescue skills.
F. Describe the components to promote total-body fitness.
G. Recognize spinal injuries and how to care for them.
H. Practice in-line stabilization techniques.
