STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Upon completion of this course, the student should demonstrate knowledge and/or skill in the following areas:
A. Learn to monitor cardiovascular fitness through aerobic exercise.
B. Learn how to develop a personal aerobic training program.
C. Learn aerobic exercises that will develop a total personal fitness program.
D. Understand how muscles, tendons and ligaments work in relation to each other.

II. The physical system of the body
A. Workings of muscles
B. Tendons
C. Ligaments
III. Specific exercises that will work on specific areas of a persons body
