STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
A. Identify the uses of various wilderness rescue equipment.
B. List the sequential techniques for belay, rapel, ¿Z pulley¿, and crevasse rescue.
C. Employ the appropriate techniques and equipment for various wilderness rescues.
D. Apply methodology for rescue and travel on scree, talus, high-angle, and avalanche slopes.
E. Identify the sequential steps necessary for the management of a wilderness ¿SAR¿ incident.
F. Complete all field practicums.
