STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Equipment used in telemark alpine skiing.
II. Alpine techniques used on nordic equipment on beginning and intermediate terrain.
III. The telemark turn on intermediate terrain.
IV. Safe and efficient backcountry downhill route finding.
V. Introduction and fundamentals of outdoor leadership and group handling skills as they relate to telemark skiing.
VI. Development of good quality judgment relating to telemark skiing.
