STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Identify appropriate clothing and equipment for flyfishing.
A. Understand the nomenclature of flyfishing.
B. Know and apply the proper skills with different types and combinations of flyfishing equipment.
C. Discuss and understand basic entomology.
D. Interpret natural sign, such as, fish habits, prey habits, seasonal habits, as they apply to successful flyfishing.
E. Understand and correctly interpret local fishing regulations.
F. Evaluate the vagaries of moving water in order to ensure a safe flyfishing
