 STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
 
 I.      Students will become familiar with the skills necessary to travel safely in an ocean environment.
 II.     Students will learn more about specific topics related to ocean kayaking by preparing and teaching lessons on varied subjects.
 III.    Students will learn and practice minimum impact techniques specific to the Baja region.
 IV.     Students will become familiar with natural and cultural history of the Baja region.
 V.      Students will have the opportunity to interact with the local culture, and engage in practice of the Spanish language.
 VI.     To enjoy the incredible setting of the Baja Peninsula.
