STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Identify normal areas of occupation and performance skills and their adaptations throughout the continuum from neonate through middle age development.
2. Identify environmental, cultural, community, and contextual influences on individuals’ health, self-identity, and psychosocial development.
3. Describe individual occupational roles and performance patterns and how this may affect the method of delivery for treatment intervention.
4. Describe the influence of contexts and environment in which individuals choose and engage in occupation.
5. Describe the importance of the balance of areas of occupation in terms of health and wellness.
6. Demonstrate the importance of skilled observation.
