Course Description: | Introduces the student to the recognition of possible fire sources and emergency procedures in the event of a fire, as well as an in-depth study of fires and the construction techniques of eliminating fires. This course includes: history of fires, types of extinguishing agents and detecting devices, construction techniques, extinguishing systems and detecting systems. National Fire Protection and Occupational Safety and Health Standards will be stressed. |

2. Explain and describe various extinguishing agents.
