 I.      Describe key events in the historical development of the safety movement.
 II.     Explain the proactive approach to health and safety.
 III.    Outline the legislative process as to how a bill becomes a public law.
 IV.     List and explain key environmental protection laws.
 V.      Explain the purpose of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
 VI.     Explain the General Duty Clause.
 VII.    List key employee and employer rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
 VIII.   Describe the System Approach to Hazard Control.
