Course Description: | Expands on basic concepts of nursing and to assist entry level nursing students to be successful students and to expand upon nursing roles and responsibilities. This course will explore in more depth learning skills for critical thinking, medical terminology, techniques of therapeutic communication, nursing process, writing nursing care plans, culture and spirituality. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Establish techniques to assist with studying course content.
