Course Description: | Design environmentally, socially and economically sound forest harvest practices which is a fundamental requirement of sustainable forestry. Good forest management requires appropriate planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating forest harvest operations. Students will learn forest harvesting methods and approaches for meeting sustainable timber utilization objectives while also protecting critical soil, water, and other forest resources. |
