STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Recognize terminology, specific facts, experimental methodologies, and general concepts related to natural resources;
II. Apply the concepts learned to develop effective management plans for natural resources, and prepare and present the management plan using audio-visual materials including internet and power point as presentation tools;
III. Utilize the internet to find information concerning natural resource management agencies;
IV. Use the internet and e-mail to express opinions to natural resource management agencies concerning current natural resources management issues; interpret natural resource data in a variety of formats, such as graphs, tables, and charts;
V. Experience and demonstrate aesthetic appreciation of our natural resources.
