  Long Title:Advanced Manicures & Pedicures
  Course Description:Presents theory and practical application dealing with different types of manicures, pedicures massage techniques and nail art. Theory and practical application of procedures, products, nail shapes and maintenance of the natural nails is covered. Students learn to recognize different nail disorders and their proper treatment. Training is done in a specialized class or in supervised salon (clinical) setting, using models or customer service.

 I.      Demonstrate the four natural nail shapes
 II.     Demonstrate the proper use of implements, cosmetics, and materials used in manicures and pedicures.
 III.    Demonstrate the proper procedure and sanitary and safety precautions for a manicure or pedicure.
 IV.     Demonstrate massage techniques used when giving a manicure or pedicure.
 V.      Demonstrate the different types of manicures and pedicures
 VI.     Demonstrate nail art techniques
 VII.    Define nail disorders and diseases
 VIII.   Provide a safe work environment
