STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Demonstrate a basic understanding of touch as the
primary means of connection and communication with the
physical environment.
II. Demonstrate the six guiding principles of Comfort
Touch.
III. Demonstrate the ability to form a therapeutic relationship
with Comfort Touch recipients.
IV. Demonstrate the basic techniques of Comfort Touch.
V. Demonstrate the ability to adapt to individual client needs.
VI. Demonstrate appropriate documentation of Comfort Touch sessions.
VII. Communicate knowledge of the healing affect each individual has on the environment.
